2012 Dyna Super Glide Custom Vs 2012 VRSC Night Rod Special?
I love both Harley models, and of course i understand that they are totally different styles, yet i cant take a decision on which model to go for.
I have only 1 concern for each of them:
For the VRSC Night Rod: it looks outstanding, muscular and more than attractive but has the racing blend which makes me frightened cause i know i will be occupied with the racing spirit and no exorcism will work for me
)))
As for the Super Glide Custom: it looks classic and nice and the cool calm driving spirit will be always there which is something i want cause i dont want to end my life over a bike, but for sure i know i will keep looking at the Vod Rod and keep biting my fingers.
so what shall i do? go for the shape and take the risk of speedy driving temptation or go for the old school and controlled driving and compromise on the look?
You will kill yourself no matter which.You will push the Glide to it’s top.You will push the Rod to it’s top.Or not. Once you have gone the limit there is no reason to do it again.
So you are interested in an overpriced old fashioned low horsepower, bad cornering bike that vibrates like a paint mixer and looks like three quarters of the bikes on the road.Or another over priced harley that has decent horsepower and doesn’t vibrate like a paint mixer, but still corners like a lumber truck and still will have problems against a 600 sport bike and still looks like three quarters of the bikes on the road.A fool and his money are soon parted.
Super glide any day of the week.
FYI: the link you clocked on from Itzel is malicious and has nothing to do with anything, you will find the same answer on any of the sub forums, if someone cant answer a question without directing you to a hyperlink then its a good sign the hyperlink wont either, the safest to use any link is to copy and paste the link into your address bar and hit enter but never ever goto hyperlinks entered in bit.ly format. a good link always starts with http…
I ride a superglide. Mid pegs, It handles like a japanese bike on the twisties, if you lean far enough, and has torque to last all day. Comfortable, reliable, powerful with great handling capabilities.
V rods look great, but handle like a parade queen.
If you want to have a Harley then buy the Dyna. If you want a bike that goes like a bat out of hell then don’t buy a Harley. A V rod is the power house of the Harley line but its a joke compared to the others. A little 600 will spank a Vrod silly.
The Dyna is a much nicer ride then the V Rod.That stupid WIDE tire on the V Rod makes it not want to turn and the low handlebars are a pain in the back with the forward foot controlls.
have you ridden either bike?I’d base the desicion on test ride information.Ride both bikes, decide which fits you better, comfort, style, price, etc.Buy that one.
